Our debut film, TRAP JAZZ, feat. Devon “Stixx” Taylor, Chris Moten & Cassius Jay out now on Hulu

We are hyped to announce our debut Jammcard film, Trap Jazz, featuring Devon “Stixx” Taylor, Chris Moten & Cassius Jay!

We partnered with Andscape, a Black-led media platform dedicated to creating, highlighting, and uplifting the diverse stories of Black identity. Magnified by the power and reach of The Walt Disney Co. With that being said, Trap Jazz is now streaming on Hulu!

Trap Jazz is a feature documentary that we’ve been making for five years. The film delves into the fascinating world of trap and jazz music, showcasing the journey of Devon “Stixx” Taylor, Chris Moten, and Cassius Jay in creating a new sound, trap jazz.

The documentary takes you on an immersive journey, providing a deep understanding of trap music, its cultural origins, and its evolution. We interviewed dozens of Atlanta trap heroes to capture the essence of trap music and its influence on the music landscape.

In addition to exploring the fusion of trap and jazz, Trap Jazz also sheds light on the challenges faced by Devon, Chris, and Cassius. Balancing their solo project while juggling calls for paid gigs is something we can all relate to.

The film also features some of the most notable names in trap and jazz music including T.I., Big Boi, Quincy Jones, Lalah Hathaway, Zaytoven, Terrace Martin, Chief Adjuah, Peewee Longway, and many more.

Trap Jazz is not just a documentary about music but a powerful portrayal of dedication, passion, and perseverance in the face of artistic endeavors, while showing the significance of fatherhood. It is a realistic documentation of the artists’ journey and the dedication required to carve out a unique musical path.

Please watch it and let us know what you think!
