This person reports directly to Jammcard’s Head of Community & Services.

 

As a chapter lead, you will represent Jammcard in your city; acting as a company advocate to the regional musician community and the music industry at large. No two days will be the same, but you will focus your time around the following objectives:

  1. Growing Jammcard’s music pro membership base
  2. Finding opportunities (gigs, sessions, partnerships, etc.) for the community
  3. Provide “ear to the streets” reporting on your city’s music scene and culture
  4. Planning and curating the JammJam featuring top regional musicians
  5. Interfacing with regional venues and universities
  6. Onboarding and soliciting product feedback from professionals in your community

  • A deep knowledge of and access to your region’s musician community and music industry
  • Empathy for the struggles of the working musician and a passion to usher in a new way forward for them through Jammcard and music technology
  • A strong and professional communicator across all mediums
  • Creative problem solver
  • Ability to “Manage up” aka communicate and deliver feedback effectively to Jammcard management

 

Compensation and Other Details

  • This role is part-time; approximately 20 hours per week
  • Must be available to start in June
