Multi-instrumentalist and Composer Morgan Guerin grew up in a musical family in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he was given his first pair of drumsticks at six months old, followed shortly thereafter by a drum set. By six, he had his first saxophone and his instrumental repertoire began to expand. After moving to Atlanta in 2009, Morgan began to gain recognition for his work. During his time in Atlanta, Morgan released two albums – The Saga (2016) & The Saga II (2017).
Guerin currently lives in New York City and attends The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. He is a member of Terri Lyne Carrington’s band, Social Science (where he plays bass, saxophone and EWI) and also performs with Amina Figarova’s Sextet. He is also an active producer and studio engineer.
