Lacy Comer is an 18 year old musician from Indianapolis Indiana. He mainly plays drums but also play keys and bass because “Being able to play multiple instruments makes me better as a drummer and it makes me think like a musician and not just a drummer.” He grew up in the church scene and also plays jazz, R&B, pop, and hip hop. Comer has played with Stellar nominees such as Vashawn Mitchell, Demetrius West, Judah Band, and Jonathan Nelson. He’s tracked on multiple gospel records, and owns his own studio where he produces. His music influences/mentors are Garrison Brown, Calvin Rodgers, Mike Reid, Terry Baker, and Robert ‘Sput’ Searight. “I’m the type of drummer that tries to get as much information and knowledge about the music industry as I can, and I try to be the best me as possible.”
